Laying stress on experiential learning, the University shall try to involve the students in providing consultation to corporations and businesses. It shall be our endeavor to immerse students in real life problems so that they conduct a thorough analysis and develop recommendations for clients.Lovely learning immerses you in real problems faced at critical decision points. You shall be the decision-maker, asked to analyze the data, develop alternatives, make and defend your recommendations and experience the outcomes. These situations shall cross every functional area. The result would be a world of experience that just couldn’t be earned by gaining a degree or even after years of experience at the work place.The experiential learning approach to learning is supported and surrounded by challenging and fascinating projects. PCTE is an academic institution that is set up to develop professional entrepreneural and executive skills in India. The institute primarily aims at imparting relevant education to young men and women with a view to provide them with the expertise to become effective professionals.
The institute also aims to conduct research in management and IT as applied to the needs of the industry. Through such research, the intent is to create and share new knowledge in this fast growing and increasingly important field.
PCTE was founded in the year 1999. It was a response to certain fundamental changes taking place in the Indian education system then. Technical education took a new dimension in the India's emerging fields. India's banking system, insurance, telecom sector and capital markets had seen an overhauling change in the fabric, and it was evident that a predicatable large gap existed between the requirement in the market and the available skilled professionals available in the country.
